A NEW PAGE has been added. This will become a gallery of website-linked cartoons by cartoonists who are contributing in some way to the development of the festival. Take a look at The Cartoonists Page NOW! COMIC BOOKS will have their own Louvre in a museum that has been established in Angoulème, south-west France. The Musée de la bande dessinée possibly has the largest collection of comic books and original comic book artwork in the world. This collection comprises of 8,000 original artworks and more than 110,000 magazines and comic books covering all [...] ANTHONY BROWNE, a children’s writer and illustrator, has been made the Children’s Laureate. A highly imaginative author with a cartoony illustration style, he has become widely known for the gorillas in his books. Here is a clip of him showing how he draws one of his gorillas!
